Greetings! I'm Jerome Washington, the founder of Evolutionary Cultures, a program dedicated to serving the diverse communities of Maryland. As a native New Yorker and a product of the NYC public school system, I bring a wealth of experience in the telecommunications industry and over 16 years of passion-driven work in the Human Services field. Throughout my career, I have immersed myself in the rich tapestry of Maryland and DC, gaining insights into the various cultures that thrive in the region. My commitment to community service led me to volunteer at men and family shelters in DC and Maryland, as well as coach various sports such as basketball, baseball, softball, and football up to the high school level. My journey in Human Services began as a WRAPCARE Coordinator in the DC public school system, where I successfully engaged with youth both within the school system and the broader community. Driven by a desire to make a more significant impact, I decided to leverage my expertise, connections, and forward-thinking approach to assist the communities we call home. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by children growing up in difficult conditions, I felt compelled to do more. At Evolutionary Cultures, one of our core visions is to understand and evolve alongside the diverse cultures we encounter, seizing every opportunity to make a positive impact
